**Cleaner - Saltholme - Part time**

We are looking for someone with high standards, an eye for detail, and excellent people skills to join our team.

You will be required to ensure that all cleaning, sanitising, and recycling tasks are completed to a high standard. You will contribute to the RSPBs Green Dragon accreditation by ensuring that all cleaning products are eco-friendly.

You will understand health and safety in the workplace to minimise the risk of accidents and/or injury to staff, volunteers, and visitors. You will have knowledge of the use of cleaning products (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH)) to ensure products are used safely. You will have an interest in the environment and sustainable living.

The role is 4 hours over 3 mornings, ideally. Week 1 Monday Wednesday; Week 2 Monday Wednesday; Week 3 Wednesday, Saturday, Sunday

Essential qualifications:

- English Language GCSE or equivalent qualification, demonstrating an ability to read and write English.

- Knowledge of the use of cleaning products (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH)) to ensure products are used in a safe and appropriate manner

- Understanding of Health and Safety in the workplace and manual handling

- Time management skills

- Ability to engage positively and communicate effectively with office and site staff

- Working in a busy commercial environment

- Managing and safely transporting cleaning products around the office/site

Desirable qualifications, knowledge, skills and experience

- Knowledge of environmental issues

- Interest in the environment and sustainable living

This is a Permanent, Part Time role for 12 hours per week. The role is 4 hours over 3 mornings, ideally. Week 1 Monday Wednesday; Week 2 Monday Wednesday; Week 3 Wednesday, Saturday, Sunday
