Job Details

The Production Supervisor will be responsible for leading and motivating the production team to exceed commitments and goals, monitoring the day-to-day production activities to ensure that production efficiency goals are being met (EFF & MEEF), safety protocols are being followed, and quality product is being produced timely and meeting customer expectations. Directly supervises hourly employees performing tasks in all areas and phases of the plant. Plans and controls production performance as measured against operating targets developed according to machine capabilities, manpower capabilities and projected business. Ensures compliance to established customer quality and production standards. Actively leads and participates in plant safety, housekeeping, 5S and lean manufacturing programs and cost savings initiatives by ensuring goals are met within the plant. Ensures completion of all required paperwork, schedules, work orders, etc.

Experience in Thermoforming, Plastics, and or extrusion Industry
o A four-year degree is preferred, or equivalent and applicable work-related experience
o Strong mechanical aptitude, hands on Exp with electrical mechanics, hydraulics, and pneumatics. Holds ability to troubleshoot.
o Experience with a continuous improvement method EX: SixSigma or Lean
o Holds an industrial safety training.
o Has held a leadership position
