This direct care position earns a competitive wage of $22.00 - $23.00/hour. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A YOUTH DEVELOPMENT SPECIALIST
As a Youth Development Specialist, you will facilitate skill-building and positive youth development opportunities to improve outcomes in areas such as permanency, wellbeing, education, employment, and safe housing. You will develop and incorporate learning in areas like healthy relationships, financial literacy, vocational/educational supports, and tenant readiness. Additionally, you will support youth in engaging in pro-social experiences within their communities and provide youth with opportunities to be successful and learn in real-life situations.
