Packaging Inspector

Responsibilities:

• Perform limited and repetitive visual, mechanical, functional, and/or inspection/packaging of the product.
• Establish incoming inspection or packaging procedures and protocol, and complete pass/fail job paperwork.
• Ensure the product meets functional specifications and is cosmetically acceptable for customer satisfaction.
• Communicate questionable or non-conforming products to the Supervisor for review.
• Perform functional tests/packaging techniques using specialized instructions.
• Scan items and enter data to complete the pass or fail report for a product or job.
• Assist in solving problems, addressing quality issues, and creating or updating work instructions.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Essential Skills:

• 1-2 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Comprehend detailed instructions and read work orders.
• Ability to move around and stand all day when necessary.
• Work well within a team environment.

The work environment is structured, fast-paced, and team-oriented. Employees must possess a strong attention to detail and the ability to work well in teams, as well as independently. It is important to always remain engaged and proactive in seeking new tasks once a project ends.

Job Type & Location:

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tualatin, OR.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.62/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
