Engineering Information Developer / Application Engineering Technical Writer

Overview:

Siemens EDA is a global software company focused on electrical design automation, 3D modeling and simulation. We are seeking an Information Developer/Technical Writer to document new technologies and existing product lines, creating examples, usage flows, procedures, and other reference material to help customers use our products effectively.

Responsibilities

• Document new technologies and proven product lines.
• Create examples, usage flows, procedures, and other reference material.
• Work closely with development staff to understand products and translate technical concepts for customers.
• Produce clear, concise technical content suitable for end users.

Qualifications

• Experience in power analysis, IC design and verification, extraction and simulation, hardware languages, or related fields (or equivalent).
• Experience with Linux-based operating systems.
• BS/MS/PhD in a technical field (EE, CS, Physics, Applied Math; equivalent experience considered). PhD in Electrical Engineering highly preferred.
• Polished ability to write concisely and effectively communicate complex information.
• Excellent interpersonal and investigative research skills.
• Multitasking or project management capabilities.
