Washington State University (WSU) Vancouver invites applications for a 9-month academic year, full-time (100% FTE) scholarly Assistant Professor - Career-Track teaching faculty position in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science. It is anticipated that the successful candidate will begin their appointment on August 16, 2026. Areas of interest include, but are not limited to, digital circuit design, microprocessors, signal processing, power systems, control systems, VLSI design, electronics, and computer systems & architecture. Strong candidates in other relevant areas will also be considered.
Position duties primarily include teaching undergraduate courses in Electrical Engineering and/or Computer Science; participating in the continuous teaching assessment activities of the relevant units and WSU campuses; effectively communicating, mentoring, and interacting with students; promoting the WSU Vancouver program in other schools and events; and collaborating with others within the unit, University, or other organizations.
Annual Salary: $80,000 - $85,000 | commensurate with experience and qualifications
