Who We're Looking For:

We are looking for an IT Engineer, you will develop, enhance and maintain semiconductor factory MES/CIM applications and manufacturing and engineering reports, participate system design, implementation and deployment, support users and team members as needed. Work in a team, multitasking and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities Included But Not Limited To:

• Create and maintain IT systems for semiconductor manufacturing FAB including MES, equipment controllers, central CIM systems, and reports.
• Perform timely user issue troubleshooting and look for opportunities for system baseline improvement.
• Represent IT to work with user groups on total IT solutions in productivity and quality improvement.
• Weekly shift rotation to provide support during work hours, off-hours, and weekends on an on-call coverage as needed.
• Develop and maintain Fab Automation function to support OverHead Hoist Transportation(OHT) system.

Minimum Requirement:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology(GPA 3.0 or higher).
• 0-2 years of software development experience.
• Proficient in core Java concepts, including object-oriented programming, data structures, and algorithms.
• Experience with or solid understanding of SQL(queries, joins, stored procedures) and basic knowledge of relational databases (e.g., Oracle, DB2).
• Experience with or solid understanding of web technologies(HTML,CSS, RESTful APIs, JSON, Web Frameworks).

Preferred Requirement:

• Experience with programming language C# is a plus.
• Knowledge of Unix environment, including shell scripting (bash, etc.) and command-in tools, is a plus.
• Educated understanding of Agentic AI with regards to software design and development is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to remain stationary for extended periods, primarily while working at a desk, with occasional movement around the facility.
• Frequent use of a computer, which involves looking at screens for extended durations.
• Occasionally required to carry items weighing up to 12 pounds.
• Frequent coordinated use of hands.

Successful candidates will need to be able to work and communicate amiably with engineering, customers, and business partners in a hi-tech, fast-paced, quick-changing work environment. Must be self-motivated and able to make process flow improvements and enhancements. Must have excellent time management skills and be a team player.

Work Location & Schedule:

This position operates on-site at our Camas, Washington location during core business hours, Monday through Friday 8 am 5 pm; however, there may be occasions when additional hours are necessary to meet project demands.

Total Rewards

At TSMC, your base pay is just one component of your comprehensive compensation package. For new hires in this position, the starting salary typically ranges between $84,000 and $101,602.00 per year. The full salary range for this Job Grade extends from $84,000 - $110,840.00 depending on factors such as skills, qualifications, education, experience, tenure, and position level. TSMC's total compensation package also includes market-competitive pay, profit sharing and incentive bonuses, and tuition assistance.
