Summary This role is responsible for daily assembly of automated machinery from blueprints, schematics or verbal instructions. You will be introduced to phases of large assembly including pneumatic and hydraulics construction.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Intermediate ability to read hydraulic and/or pneumatic schematics
• Basic knowledge of electrical and voltage meters
• Mount and wire switches and terminal panels to print
• Intermediate print reading including electrical prints with continued knowledge with all other forms of prints
• Read tape measure within 1/16"
• Read level
• Identify and use SAE, Metric, Fine and Coarse Fasteners
• Demonstrate drilling and tapping by hand or air for assembly requirements
• Proficient with power tools
• Ability to be comfortable working at various heightswill be performing work on ladders and platforms
• Basic equipment recognition
• Ability to create ECRs
• Other duties as assigned

Skills

• Forklift, Crane, Jib Crane (per Company certification)
• Intermediate print and schematics reading skills
• Proficient with power tools
• Ability to read a level correctly
• Ability to identify correct lubrication and correct amount
• Ability to read a tape measure within 1/16"
• Proficient at ECR changes (on the job training provided)
• Basic knowledge of electrical wiring
• Basic knowledge of electrical and voltage meters

• Ability to have own tools in a roll-around toolbox
• Ability to foster and work within a team environment

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Ability to simultaneously work on multiple projects at one time

• Displays attention to detail and consistently follows Standard Work Instructions (when available) when completing tasks
• Demonstrates the qualities of a "Team Player" by accepting new responsibilities and filling in for other employees when needed
• Self?motivated and has the ability to work with supervision
• Communicates well with peers, supervisor, customers, vendors, and other departments
• Actively participates in 6S and other Continuous Improvement (CI) efforts

Education and/or Experience

• High school diploma or GED required
• 13 years in an assembly area or related field preferred
• Experience with welding and torch preferred
