Production Expeditor

Coordinate and expedite the flow of work and materials within and between departments according to the production schedule. Review and distribute production work and shipment schedules while coordinating with department managers to determine the progress of work and completion schedules.

Facilitate the efficient flow of materials and jobs on the manufacturing floor. Work with production managers to identify issues or constraints and communicate impact to appropriate parties. Track expedited and/or key jobs to ensure they remain on track, and provide solutions to realign jobs that are off schedule. Provide analysis on potential expedites, including impacts on existing schedules. Perform as a liaison between PM/Sales and Production groups. Assist with inventory control and materials handling.

Two to three years of experience in a manufacturing, industrial machining, or fabrication assembly environment working with metal or plastic. Excellent organizational skills. Proficiency in the MS Office suite. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with all levels and disciplines. Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles in a low volume manufacturing environment.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tigard, OR. The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
