Packer - Weekend Nights Friday to Sunday and every other Thursday 5:00pm - 5:00am The hourly wage for this position is $18.65 to $19.40 plus $2.00 shift differential New Hire Sign On Bonus - $2,000

This highly visible position is located at our Vancouver, WA Facility.

What You'll Do:

  • This position will be responsible for performing work in a variety of manufacturing functions as outlined in this job description, typically rotating tasks every two (2) hours.
  • Packer employees must receive training for each specific role prior to performing the work. Only Department Trainers or other department personnel that have completed "Train the Trainer" may conduct training.
  • Essential Functions: Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), company policies, safety policies and practices, quality standards, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). Responsible at all times for ensuring that tasks are performed according to food safety, quality, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Wear proper GMP and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) attire for all tasks including shoe covers, gowns, hair restraint(s), gloves, masks, sleeve covers, hearing protection, safety glasses, etc. Ensure proper clean room attire is worn in the clean room.
  • Understand Lock Out/Tag Out procedures.
  • Perform cleaning tasks as assigned by Packing Lead, Shift Lead, and/or Supervisor.
  • Act as a sorter, bagger, sealer, boxer, and palletizer.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What You'll Need:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Ability to sort, count, and verify product quantities.
  • Ability to complete paperwork accurately.
  • Ability to read and carry out oral and written instructions in English.
