CV Resources is partnering with a large global manufacturing organization to identify a highly skilled Senior Corporate Accountant for a temporary engagement supporting its corporate accounting team.

• Schedule: First two weeks onsite full-time for training, then hybrid (3 days remote / 2 days onsite)

About the Opportunity

The accounting team is currently navigating an immediate need for an experienced professional who can independently manage complex accounting responsibilities with minimal oversight.

This position supports several unique business units and corporate accounting functions, intercompany accounting, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead month-end and period-end close activities
• Prepare and review journal entries and account reconciliations
• Support financial statement preparation and review
• Manage complex intercompany transactions and reconciliations
• Perform accounting and reporting for corporate aircraft operations
• Support accounting activities for a utility business, including customer billing and related accounting functions
• Analyze and account for foreign currency transactions
• Assist with large-dollar and complex corporate transactions
• Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
• Partner with accounting leadership and cross-functional stakeholders on special projects and process improvements

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
• CPA, CMA, and/or MBA strongly preferred
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong understanding of GAAP and corporate accounting practices
• Experience with financial statement preparation and review
• Experience with intercompany accounting and reconciliations
• Exposure to foreign currency accounting preferred
• Advanced Excel skills required
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
