This role partners closely with the Demand Planning Manager and cross‑functional teams to ensure accurate data, timely reporting, and strong customer service levels. The position is ideal for an early‑career professional seeking to build skills in forecasting and supply chain planning.Essential job functions:Assist in preparing monthly demand forecasts for the assigned Categories using historical sales and order dataSupport analysis of historical sales, trends, and promotions to inform forecast inputsIncorporate inputs from Sales, Marketing, and Product teams into demand plansSupport the process for the forecast on new products with analysis of previous similar productsParticipate in process improvement initiatives and training opportunitiesPrepare inventory reports including availability, slow movers and closeoutsAssist in creating dashboards and planning reports for management reviewKnowledge, Skills & Abilities:Strong analytical skills and problem‑solving skillsHigh attention to detail and data accuracyComfortable working in Excel and spreadsheet-based analysisBasic understanding of demand planning, inventory management, or supply chain conceptsStrong communication skills and ability to collaborate cross‑functionallyOrganized, proactive, and eager to learn in a fast‑paced environmentEducation & Experience:Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, finance, analytics, operations, or related field preferred0–2 years' experience in supply chain, planning, operations, inventory, or data analysis rolesInternship or co‑op experience in manufacturing, operations, or planning environments is a plusExposure to ERP/MRP systems preferred but not requiredLocation: Portland, OR (Hybrid in office 3-days/week)#J-18808-Ljbffr
