Ultimately, an outstanding Unarmed Security Officer will seek to expand their legal knowledge and self‑defense training beyond the state‑mandated minimum level. While we do require all candidates to possess their own equipment prior to joining our team, we will provide regular assessments and refreshers to ensure that each officer is certified to use the tools they carry on a daily basis.Unarmed Security Officers' pay starts at $22/hr with a current unarmed DPSST certification, $21/hr without a current unarmed DPSST certification.
