**Case Dock Worker**

Job Description Alpenrose Dairy, a 100 year old iconic Portland brand, is looking for a Cade Dock Worker. This position work on our pre-production team with the opportunity for advancement within a year of start date. This role is responsible for unloading milk cases from delivery trucks and trailers, occasionally loading trailers with empty cases for delivery as well.

Daily responsibilities include:

* *Unloading milk cases from trucks and trailers*

* *Sorting, stacking and washing cases*

* *Periodically, loading trailers with cases for delivery*

* *Washing case washer, cleaning drains, screens and filters*

Qualifications to be successful:

* Must be able to lift and push/pull 50 lbs consistently and work on your feet 8 to 10 hours a day.

* Safety minded.

* Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks and meet deadlines, have great organizational skills.

* Ability to read, write and speak English. Must be able to read orders and schedules and documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals

* Work cooperatively with management, colleagues, partners, and most importantly customers and potential customers

* Must be able to maintain a fast, physical pace.
