A Plus Tree specializes in the removal, pruning (trimming), and health of trees in urban areas. You must have a passion for safety and a desire to work in an exciting environment. We are looking for candidates who have the capacity to learn new skills, including the use of equipment large and small, and be willing to become certified tree climbers!Responsibilities:Demonstrates and performs pre-climb tree risk inspectionUses industry-standard climbing techniques, climbing gear, and basic riggingMoves throughout a tree canopy without the use of climbing spurs, instruction, or supervisionMakes proper cuts aloft in a tree while following all safety standardsSafely and efficiently uses hand tools and power tools while aloft in a treeWorks with a team while maintaining a good attitude and keeping pace with the crew Works a full day with the crew and is willing and able to handle all tasks of tree care within their expertise and qualificationsAll other duties as assigned by the supervisorQualifications:Passionate about tree work, service, and peopleNo experience is required, but previous experience as a tree grounds worker is a plusA team player who has a good attitude and keeps pace with the crewOutdoor enthusiast!
