The Dental Receptionist will perform front office responsibilities related to delivering quality patient care in a clinical setting and the ability to support patients in need of assistance (filling out paperwork, etc.). This position is responsible for collecting and recording patient information when checking patients in and scheduling appointments.Essential Job DutiesWelcomes patients and visitors in person or virtually, and answers inquiries with a friendly demeanor and professionalismGathers visit reason, accurately schedules return visits and confirms in-person and virtual appointments, enters patients' information by obtaining, recording, and updating demographic and financial information into EHR (EPIC Wisdom)Checks patients in and verifying that patient information is accurateProcesses co-payments and completes daily deposit reconciliation and assists with bank runsScrubs upcoming schedules and patient charts daily for any missing information, payments due or other information to be collected at check-inConfirms patients' insurance eligibility and coverage informationScans & indexes documentation into medical records according to NHCs policies and proceduresReceives, documents, and routes messages and to appropriate clinical staffAssists in new employee training on specific tasks, as neededWorks collaboratively in a team environment with a spirit of cooperationPerforms other duties as assignedQualificationsQUALIFICATIONSDon't think that you meet every single requirement?
