Note: This is for our Cascade Locks location (30 min from Portland). Three long (9-11 hour) shifts available in lieu of 5-day week.
Gorges Beer Co. has a rapidly-growing events business andis looking for a line cook eager to learn and motivated to help serve as part of a team. Gorges kitchen handles daily restaurant sales, and wedding catering & events! We're expecting fun and more growth this summer!
What we're looking for: A team player who treats peers with respect and can come in and learn quickly. We're hiring for Friday to Sunday shifts.
Flex options: Only 30 minutes from Portland so if you're a portland candidate, we can offer 3-4 longer shifts in lieu of 5 regular shifts.
Events: We have over 50 events this summer and most wedding / large events are paid at the events wage of $30/hr.
Menu Input: The team is working on an updated menu and you can be part of those updates. We have a tightly-knit, unselfish team and we are growing fast. Virtually everything at Gorges Beer Co. is from scratch, so we are looking for a detail-oriented cook who takes pride in their work and is able to work quickly and consistently.
Pay & Benefits:
- Pay starts at $18/hour for qualified applicants, up to $22 for more experience
- Cash tips can average $8-15/hr (based off current payroll) for regular business. Events business is a higher ($30/hr) base.

Requirements:
- Weekend availability a must (typical hours of oper. 10am-8pm)
- Prefer 3 years kitchen experience
- Able to work the line solo
