WAREHOUSE - INVENTORY CONTROL SPECIALIST

For 40 years, our client has been making the best audio hardware and software for the professional AV market.

SUMMARY:

Provide material support in a Lean Manufacturing environment by monitoring the accuracy of inventory. Assures daily resolution of errors identified by cycle counts and assures timely and accurate completing of count journals.

SHIFTS: Monday - Thursday 2pm -12:30am

PAY: $21/hr

DUTIES:

• Maintains the daily cycle count program requiring inventory count accuracy and timeliness.
• Administer transaction corrections, inventory adjustments, and negative balance adjustments.
• Liaise with the Manufacturing department to troubleshoot and rectify problems arising from inventory transaction errors.
• Perform cycle counts as needed to resolve discrepancies.
• Updates cycle reports and documentation
• Train employees on cycle counts.
• Participate in annual inventory audits
• Support continuous improvement.
• Assist disposition of end of life inventory.
• Other duties as assigned by Supervisor

EXPERIENCE NEEDED:

• Minimum 1 year related experience in material handling, cycle counting, or inventory control preferred.
• Ability to understand part numbering.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel & ERP knowledge
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
