Die Setter

Duties

• Responsible for setting-up efficient, safe and time-effective mold changes.
• Reporting all deficiencies/problems with the task and equipment used to production shift supervisor.
• Responsible for proper cleaning and storage of tools.
• Ensures the mold is set safely and changed in a timely manner.
• Communicates and coordinates with other shifts and supervisors.
• Receive job line-up of scheduled mold changes. Set-up will include mold and auxiliary equipment.

Physical Demands

• Constant standing, walking, kneeling, and climbing required.
• Use of hands to handle and feel objects, tools, and/or controls. Ability to reach overhead.
• The ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and on occasion, lift and/or move up to 100 pounds aided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong written/verbal communication.
• Ability to work under time constraints with changing priorities.
• Regular and predictable attendance.
• Good math skills.
• Knowledge and ability to use various hand tools.
• Basic PC and internet skills.

Preferred

• Manufacturing experience and Knowledge of plastic injection molding machinery, mechanics, molds, and processes.

Shifts: Multiple shifts available! Day, Overnight, Compressed!
Pay: Up to $20/hr depending on Skills & Experience
