Mechanical Assembly Operator
Job Description
Mechanical Assembly of housing cases used to protect electronic assemblies from extreme vibrations and temperature changes from being on airplanes at various altitudes. Operation of mold machines to create molds for parts to be placed in for casting.
Operation of ovens to cure molds. Follow work instructions. Use of hand tools. Prep parts to be moved to next step in production process.
These openings are on 2nd shift with regular scheduled hours from 11am-9pm, Monday-Thursday (can adjust to 10am-8pm if desired).
Will train on day shift from 6am-4:30pm, Monday-Friday. Voluntary overtime available on Friday and Saturday for those who want it.
Responsibilities
Assemble housing cases to protect electronic assemblies from extreme conditions.
Operate mold machines to create molds for casting parts.
Operate ovens to cure molds.
Follow detailed work instructions.
Use hand tools for assembly and preparation tasks.
Prepare parts for the next step in the production process.
Essential Skills
Experience working in manufacturing or production.
Ability to read and understand English for reading manufacturing instructions and drawings.

Regular scheduled hours are from 11am-9pm, Monday-Thursday with training on day shift from 6am-4:30pm, Monday-Friday. Voluntary overtime is available on Friday and Saturday.
