A client of ours in Sherwood is looking to add a Press Brake Operator their team. This company is looking for someone who is self-motivated and able to work in a fast paced environment! All products are made and assembled within the USA. They have an immediate need for an experience Press Break Operator who is capable of operating one of the largest hydraulic press within the State of Oregon. This is an evaluation to full time hire opportunity

Duties:

• Operate a 16' X 600-ton CNC hydraulic press brake with NC Controller.
• Interpret blueprints and lay out or detail layouts on work stock.
• Program tooling and products using DNC 7000.
• Occasionally utilize a 12' X 3/4'' plate shear and 5/8'' capacity plate rolls
• Utilize forklift, jib cranes, and 10 and 20-ton overhead cranes to align layout marks with dies.
• Perform routine maintenance on machines.
• Apply grease and oil to all moving parts and inspect seals for leaks.
• Record heat and P.O. numbers on all crane parts

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities (KSAs):

• 2+ years of press brake experience, including own layouts and operation.
• Proficiency with heavy metals, especially raw or mild steel.
• Ability to read blueprints and work instructions.
• Experience with overhead cranes, forklifts, and jib cranes for rigging materials.
• Strong attention to detail and safety consciousness.
• Preferably 1-3 years of Press Brake Machine Operating experience.
• Familiarity with power and hand tools.
• Proficient in reading schematics and blueprints.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• High school diploma or GED required

Pay: $30/hr. + DOE

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 6AM - 2:30PM
