Job Overview:

Express has partnered with a local machine shop and are seeking applicants to join their team as a CNC Milling Machinist. In this role, you will be responsible for operating HASS CNC machines with minimal supervision, working with various types of metals, and performing job setups and breakdowns.

Job Description:

• Prepare and operate CNC machines to perform tasks (HAAS).
• Read and interpret blue prints and traveler to determine production needs
• Upload and utilize programs to create products. Perform minor program editing as needed.
• Understand and work with G&M codes for efficient machine programming and operation.
• Set up and break down jobs, ensuring efficient transition between projects.
• Perform inspection of completed products, ensuring that final product correlates to prints company specs and standards.

Requirements:

• Minimum of one year of recent CNC Machine experience.
• Understanding of calipers, micrometers and other various measuring devices.
• Work with minimal to no supervision.
• Must be mechanically inclined.
• Have a high attention to detail.
• Ability to stand in one spot for hours and lift up to 40 pounds
• Report to work prompt with a good work ethic.
