About the Role
The Company is in search of a Executive Director, Contracts to lead a high-performing team in managing complex contract operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for the entire contract lifecycle, from negotiation to closeout, and must have a minimum of 10 years' experience in contract management and leadership, particularly within the pharmaceutical distribution and/or manufacturing industry. This role requires a strategic leader with a Juris Doctorate or a Master's degree and significant experience in contract management. The VP, Contracts will oversee a team that is tasked with ensuring the efficient and accurate execution of contract negotiations, drafting, and closeout, while also collaborating with corporate leadership to align contract terms with business objectives.
Key responsibilities for the Executive Director, Contracts include leading and managing the Contracts team, providing legal support for business initiatives, and developing efficient contract management processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of regulatory compliance, expertise in complex contract negotiations, and the ability to influence business outcomes. They should be a self-motivated individual with exceptional communication, drafting, and negotiation skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. The role demands a professional with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel, and a proven track record of maintaining effective relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
