Job Duties:
  • Work with groups of 2-3 clients at a time to encourage socialization, promote inclusion, and foster friendships through pre-planned events and activities
  • Provide transportation for clients to get out into the community or to events
  • Encourage community involvement and discovering hobbies through our group activity program
  • Model appropriate social interactions and break down information
  • Provide accurate and support centered notes
Work Location & Schedule:
  • The work location for this position is in the Hillsboro and surrounding areas, based on program events and client participation
  • Part Time (minimum of 20 hours per week)
  • Tuesday through Saturday availability preferred, but not required
  • Flexible schedule, late evening shift required on occasion based on program events
Requirements/Qualifications:
  • Desire to help others
  • Exhibits a talent for inclusion, communication, responsibility, and relating to others
  • Ability to prepare written reports via computer or smart phone in the English language using proper spelling, punctuation, and grammar
  • 18 years of age or older with valid Driver's License
  • Reliable transportation and willing to use personal vehicle to transport clients
  • Must possess a clean driving record
  • Ability to pass a background check
