A client of ours in Canby is looking to add an Electronic Assembler to their team. This is a great position for someone looking to develop new skills in an entry-level position.

This is an evaluation to hire position.

Duties:

• Produce quality products with manual assembly processes such as stuffing, hand assembly, mechanical assembly, and soldering (lead and lead-free).
• Produce quality products with manual assembly processes such as stuffing, hand assembly, mechanical assembly, soldering (lead and lead-free), as well as some rework capabilities.
• Inspect to workmanship standards.
• Test electronic assemblies.
• Follow appropriate quality policies and procedures.
• Perform work to appropriate efficiency and utilization standards.
• Practice and participate in Continuous Improvement and Lean activities, supporting change and identifying ways to improve processes and efficiency.
• Build product as directed by Team Leader/Supervisor.
• Actively participate in work group/team activities, as an enthusiastic, positive, and dependable team member.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area and environment.
• Provide input to problem-solving process and possess good communication skills.
• The work performed in this job can only be done on-site and attendance is an essential function of the job.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities (KSAs):

• Soldering experience preferred
• Ability to read, speak, write, and understand English to enable clear communication and comprehension of documentation.
• Basic math skills are required to add, subtract, multiply, & divide.
• Perform more advanced assembly

Pay: $18.00/hr

Schedule: Thursday-Saturday 5:00 pm-5:00 am, OT available
