About the Role
The Company is seeking a Payment Operations Officer to oversee and manage all aspects of payment operations, including risk management and processing strategies. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading projects and risk activities related to both current and emerging payment channels. This role requires a strategic leader who can provide oversight, risk monitoring, and training in the field of payments. The Payment Operations Officer will also be tasked with resource allocation and ensuring that the company's payment operations are in line with industry standards and regulations.
Applicants for the Payment Operations Officer position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, with a preference for AAP and CTP certifications. A minimum of 5 years' experience in bank payment operations, management, and supervisory activities is required, with a strong background in complex transaction processing environments. The ideal candidate will have subject matter expertise in a range of payment systems and regulations, including Fedline, ACH, Wire, FedNow, Real Time Payments, and VISA/Mastercard rules. Experience with third-party payment processing, such as money service businesses and ISO merchant processors, is also essential. The role demands a professional with a deep understanding of NACHA, Fedline, Visa, and Reg E rules, regulations, and processing standards.
