SAP FICO Audit Consultant
Our well-known retail client seeks a knowledgeable SAP FICO Audit Consultant to audit and enhance their financial foreign transaction processes within SAP. This role involves evaluating current configurations, identifying areas for improvement, and establishing best practices, particularly as the company expands its international sales. The consultant will ensure accurate calculation and translation of foreign transactions into USD, addressing challenges stemming from their use of a legacy SAP system.

This is a remote role with 1 week of travel to Portland, Oregon.

• Facilitate communication between departments to perform annual audit and implement process improvements/efficiencies.
• Conduct audits of SAP Finance configurations focusing on foreign currency exchange (FX) and accounting processes.
• Review accounts for foreign exchange revaluation and translation preparing journal entries for unrealized gains/losses.
• Develop and implement test cases to verify the accuracy of audit findings.

SAP FICO Audit Consultant Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Strong expertise in SAP FICO module and foreign currency exchange/accounting practices.
• Proven experience with auditing SAP Finance configurations, particularly in FX and accounting.
• Ability to deliver results quickly with a focus on completing the audit by year-end.
• Deep understanding of SAP best practices for configuration and process improvements.
• Excellent analytical skills to provide actionable suggestions and recommendations post-audit.
• Collaborative with strong communication skills and the ability to interact at all levels of the organization.
