An industrial, national defense contractor located in Vancouver is looking for a Master Scheduler within their Marine Fabrication Organization. The Master Scheduler supports Planning/Integration and Project Management to meet project schedule, cost, quality, safety, and corporate goals. Main functions focus on the development and maintenance of all levels of schedule – Level 1 shipyard master, Level 2 project/program planning, and Level 3 project/program Integrated Master Schedule (IMS). This individual will be cross collaborating with a variety of departments to build and maintain schedules, present report outputs, and conduct health assessments using DCMA 14-point assessment. Familiarity with schedule development and production processes is necessary. A background within production, engineering, or project management would also be heavily beneficial. The Master Scheduler is also in charge of the scheduling department (2-5 direct reports). Therefore, the ability to manage, mentor, and motivate a team is necessary. This position requires 5 days onsite and may be required to be in production areas at times. There may be local travel up to 10% of the time and out-of-town travel up to 5% of the time with notice. Compensation:
$125,000 to $148,232 per year annual salary.
