Public Transit Security Officer – $1000 Hiring Bonus!

Rate: $23.00-$23.30/hour + $1000 Hiring Bonus

Available Schedules:

• Sat-Wed 1400-2200

Job Duties:

• Works on public transit buses and bus stop platforms with the general public
• Will respond to incidents as needed, with the authority to remove people from the bus

Position Requirements:

• 18 years of age or older
• High School Diploma or GED Required
• Standard computer/technology skills needed
• Must be able to walk and stand for long periods of time
• Experience de-escalating difficult situations needed
• Strong customer service and excellent communication skills needed
• Must work well under pressure and be comfortable interacting with difficult people
• Valid Driver's License and clear driving record required
• Level 3 officer - military/security/law enforcement background preferred
