**The Sr. Director of Data Center Network Engineering is a senior leadership role responsible for strategic planning and management of over 30 data centers, branch engineering, and co-locations.** Reporting to the Sr. Director of Data Center Network Engineering will be the Director of Branch Engineering and a global team of data center network architects and engineers. The Sr. Director will ensure all Data Centers operate with consistency, resiliency, efficiency, and security. This includes maintaining system health, handling end-of-life equipment, capacity planning, monitoring, and partnering with the Global Security Office for compliance. The Sr. Director also oversees observability, network analytics, incident response, and device hygiene across all data centers worldwide.

**Key responsibilities include:**

1. Operations: Oversee the continual operation of critical data centers, providing technical leadership during critical outages and root cause analysis.
2. Technology Leadership: Drive adoption of Network as a Service supporting Data Center and SDN architectures, shaping future infrastructure.
3. Security and Compliance: Collaborate with security teams to implement security measures and ensure compliance with industry standards.
4. Strategic Planning: Develop roadmaps for network delivery and lifecycle management, aligning with business goals and technology standards, using data-driven metrics.
5. Budgeting and Resource Planning: Manage global infrastructure budgets, justify investments, and optimize resources, including creating P&L models and ROI analyses.
6. Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a global team, fostering collaboration, performance, and a shared vision.
7. Vendor Management: Evaluate and select external vendors and service providers.
8. Collaboration and Communication: Build relationships with stakeholders across the organization for alignment and effective communication.
