Position Summary
The Capital Projects and Construction (CP&C) unit is part of the Office of Planning, Construction & Real Estate. CP&C oversees all renovation and construction projects on campus.
Our team collaborates with campus clients from project conception through design, permitting, bidding, construction, and occupancy. We manage projects of various sizes, maintain comprehensive records, and fabricate campus signage. Our mission is to design and build a modern, sustainable campus that supports our students' learning experience and reinforces our academic mission:
Reporting to the Assistant Director of Design & Construction, the Senior Project Manager oversees construction projects that create, repair, remodel, maintain, or preserve the university's physical assets and utility systems. Responsibilities include managing projects from inception to completion, including large-scale projects, and managing full-time and student employees.
For large projects, the role involves collaborating with senior leadership to select design consultants and contractors, overseeing project execution, and managing closeout processes. For smaller projects, the role entails working with external or internal teams to create and oversee project execution, including closeout and turnover.

Work Schedule & Compensation
