Located in Portland, Oregon, this in-office role is the financial heartbeat of our operation. You'll be:
Owning the full-cycle accounting for our construction projects
Managing accounts payable/receivable, job costing, WIP, and financial reconciliations
Generating accurate, well-formatted reports using QuickBooks and other software tools
Supporting internal audits and monthly, quarterly, and year-end closes
Handling customer billing, collections, lien waivers, and vendor payments
Collaborating with project managers to ensure data accuracy and job profitability
Maintaining fixed assets, depreciation schedules, and cash flow monitoring

3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in construction, plumbing, HVAC, or related trades
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent construction accounting experience)
Strong understanding of job costing and project accounting
High proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and document management tools like DocuWare
Experience with payroll platforms (e.g., ADP, TSheets) and certified payroll reporting
Familiarity with AIA billing and retainage
Exceptional accuracy, problem-solving, and time-management skills
Strong communication and collaboration abilities
