Job Title: Senior Construction Estimator at McKinstry

We are seeking a dedicated professional to lead estimating efforts within our New Construction team in Portland, OR. Key responsibilities include:

• Developing project cost estimates based on schematic and detailed designs.
• Performing ductwork takeoffs using Autobid Sheet Metal and maintaining related software and databases.
• Reviewing subcontractor and vendor quotes and developing initial budgets without complete engineering drawings.
• Engaging with clients, vendors, and internal teams to facilitate project success and risk evaluation.

Qualifications include:

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, construction management, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 8 years of estimating experience, with proficiency in sheet metal estimating and software such as Autobid.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, project financials, and construction processes.
