Title: Overnight Team Lead Supervisor
Wage: $65,130 Annually
Shift: 8:30pm-7:30am, Thursday-Saturday & alternating Wednesdays
Classification: Exempt, Full-Time, Not Union Represented
Location: Arbor Lodge Shelter
Reports To: Program Manager

This position has an introductory probationary period of 90 days.

THE POSITION: The Team Lead Supervisor (TLS) will assist the Program Manager with overseeing program staff and managing the overall operations of the site. The TLS will serve as the point person onsite when the Program Manager is unavailable. Duties will include assisting the Program Manager with overall site operations and staffing, performing supervisions, managing scheduling, and other related leadership tasks.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist in the oversight of services and programming in a manner that is consistent with Do Good's mission, values, policies, and procedures.
  • Assist the Program Manager in formally training and supervising all program staff.
  • Provide leadership, support, and positive role modeling for program staff.
  • Manage the monthly schedules and bi-monthly timecards of all direct reports.
  • Facilitate staff and team meetings in the absence of the manager.
  • Model and encourage direct, kind, and clear communication among staff members.
  • Participate in compliance, quality assurance and quality improvement activities as directed.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.*

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A minimum of one (1) year of prior experience working with houseless or formerly houseless individuals.
  • Strong understanding of Housing First, Trauma-Informed Care and Harm Reduction models.
  • Current Oregon Food Handler's Card, or ability to obtain one within first 90 days of employment.
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Prior work or lived experience engaging with houseless Veterans.
  • Knowledge of community partners and social agencies that serve Portland's Veteran and/or houseless populations.
