Job Title: Overnight Team Lead Supervisor

Department: Houseless Intervention Services

Reports to: Program Manager

Salary Grade/Level/Family/Range: $66,950 Step I FY 2024-25

Effective Date: 1-Sep-24

FLSA Classification:Exempt / Salaried

Job Summary: The Team Lead Supervisor will oversee case managers and overnight shelter staff, perform supervisions, scheduling, and assist the Program Manager. Duties include developing performance review objectives for employees.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Participant: Process intakes/exits, crisis response, ensure safety, empower staff, support policy adherence, contribute to hiring.
  • Administration, Compliance & Facilities: Supervise staff, oversee services, conduct chart audits, report grievances, ensure compliance, lead safety initiatives, manage supplies, facilitate training, maintain facility standards, provide translation support.
  • Supervisory: Enforce policies, check staff goals, coordinate staffing, coach staff, delegate duties, participate in meetings, manage staffing coverage.

Supervisory Responsibilities: Case Managers, Shelter Staff, Overnight Shelter Staff, On-Call Shelter Staff

Preferred Experience:

  • 2-3 years as a Team Lead Supervisor or similar
  • Experience with client databases, operational strategies, support services
  • Knowledge of human behavior, management principles, customer service

Preferred Education:

  • Bachelor's in Social Work, Psychology, or related field (preferred)
  • Relevant certifications, lived experience

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Understanding of Housing First and Harm Reduction models
  • Openness to change, strong communication skills, active listening

Additional Eligibility Requirements:

  • Manual dexterity, ability to pass background check, work in drug-free environment, punctuality

Work Environment: Indoors/outdoors, heat/cold, uneven surfaces, proximity to others, odors

Physical Requirements: Lift 50lbs, bend, sit, stand

Travel: Occasional, up to 30%

Note: Duties may evolve; employees must follow instructions and perform other duties as assigned. Must meet minimum qualifications and safety standards.

Schedule: Every other Wednesday & Thursday-Saturday, 8:30pm-7:30am, full-time, 30-40 hours/week
