Position: Entry Level Facilities Support

Salary Range: $20-$23/hr

Overview: Are you mechanically inclined and interested in starting a career in tech maintenance? We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Entry Level Facilities Support to handle the upkeep and technical maintenance of various equipment and smart storage systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, excellent problem-solving skills, and a dedication to providing top-notch service to ensure smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform electrical and mechanical troubleshooting and repairs as needed.
  • Quickly diagnose and resolve technical issues, including hardware and software problems.
  • Replace or repair defective components to restore equipment functionality.
  • Conduct routine maintenance and inspections to prevent equipment failures and ensure optimal performance.
  • Maintain detailed service schedules and logs for each piece of equipment.
  • Install and relocate equipment as required.
  • Manage inventory of spare parts and tools necessary for maintenance and repairs.
  • Receive, check, count, and organize stock.
  • Pick and pack customer orders within agreed timeframes.
  • Deliver items to designated locations as needed.
  • Perform stock checks and cycle counts to maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Utilize computerized systems for various tasks.
  • Complete project deliverables and tasks within specified deadlines.

Qualifications:

  • Reliable, hardworking, and flexible with a positive attitude.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Solid understanding of electrical, mechanical, and network systems.
  • Ability to diagnose issues quickly and implement effective solutions.

  • Strong technical skills are highly advantageous.
  • Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical individuals.
  • Proficient with software systems such as SAP, Microsoft Projects, Teamwork, etc.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a commitment to high-quality customer service.
  • Willingness to take on additional duties as needed.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Efficiently prioritize and complete tasks within deadlines.
