Workday Integrations Software Engineer III

Description:

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

As a Senior Software Integration Engineer III, working with Workday, you will collaborate with a team of engineers focused on integrations across products. Your responsibilities include developing, testing, and deploying integrations to meet business requirements, and ensuring timely delivery of technical solutions.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

  • Create detailed system integration specifications, field mapping, and process designs.
  • Evaluate, communicate, and coordinate the technical impacts of application configuration decisions.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Managers and Configuration Engineers to understand their integration needs.
  • Maintain up-to-date integration design documentation reflecting any changes.
  • Conduct root cause analysis to determine appropriate actions for break/fix situations.
  • Ensure 100% compliance with all policies, processes, and procedures.
  • Maintain discretion and confidentiality in all HR data and information, whether internal or customer-specific.

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH

  • Work with the lead/manager to ensure assigned work is delivered on time.
  • Collaborate with product management to understand business requirements.
  • Coordinate with integrations and cross-product engineers to deliver results on schedule.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience and education.
  • 5+ years of experience with Workday integrations using Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, and payroll connectors (PECI), including related tools like XML and XSLT.
  • Experience integrating systems with third-party service vendors.
  • Proficiency with Web Services (WSDL, SOAP), EDI, and Flat File integrations.
  • At least one full Workday implementation demonstrating technical and integration expertise.
  • Knowledge of SaaS applications, deployment models, and SaaS DevOps.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with Product Owners within an Agile framework.
  • Workday Studio Certification preferred.
  • Experience with Object-Oriented concepts preferred.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to quickly learn new technologies and applications.
