Job Description
Peterson Power Systems seeks an experienced EPG Trainer at our Hillsboro, OR location.
SUMMARY
The EPG Trainer develops and delivers comprehensive technical training programs to enhance the knowledge, skills, and performance of technical employees, the Peterson organization, and our customers. Responsibilities include analyzing, researching, designing, implementing, and conducting training sessions. The trainer instructs on foundational and EPG-specific courses, fostering a continuous learning environment across all business units. Tasks include setting training objectives, creating training materials, delivering lectures on safety, installation, programming, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of EPG machinery, administering exams, and evaluating trainee performance.

QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited college plus at least six years of relevant experience in the electrical power generation industry, or equivalent education and experience. Strong knowledge of Caterpillar products, EPG equipment, and engines. Completion of foundational Caterpillar courses and ability to achieve EPG Analyst Certification within 7 years. Proven success as a field EPG technician with excellent communication skills.
