Position Overview
CorSource is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead critical infrastructure, technology, and operations initiatives in the energy and utility industry. Ideal candidates bring a combination of strategic leadership, hands-on coordination, and the ability to deliver results in dynamic, stakeholder-rich environments.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the full lifecycle of technical, construction, or infrastructure-focused projects
Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, scope documents, and staffing models
Lead cross-functional teams and serve as the central point of coordination across internal and external stakeholders
Conduct regular team meetings, manage action items, and provide timely project reporting and updates
Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate risks; escalate critical issues with recommended solutions
Ensure compliance with procurement policies, regulatory standards, and project governance protocols
Oversee vendor and contractor performance to ensure alignment with scope and quality expectations
Promote continuous improvement through lessons-learned documentation and quality assurance efforts
Apply established project management methodologies (PMI, Agile, Waterfall) tailored to project needs
Mentor and support junior project staff or coordinators, as applicable
Preferred Skills & Experience
8+ years of experience managing large-scale projects within utilities, energy, or infrastructure
Background in IT/OT project delivery, construction management, or systems implementation
Demonstrated ability to lead matrixed teams and coordinate across multiple departments
Proficiency in project tools such as MS Project, SAP, SharePoint, Jira, or Smartsheet
PMP, CSM, or other industry certification preferred
Strong financial acumen for tracking budgets, forecasting, and reporting
Clear and confident communication skills, including executive reporting and stakeholder engagement
Experience leading change management efforts or navigating organizational resistance
Education & Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
Must be authorized to work in the United States
Regional travel may be required depending on project assignment
