Job Summary: The Director of Banquets is responsible for managing all banquet and catering events, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and maximizing revenue. This includes overseeing event planning, staff management, client relations, menu development, and financial performance. The role requires leadership to deliver high-quality service, operational efficiency, and uphold company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Event Management and Coordination: Oversee all catering events, work with clients, develop detailed plans, ensure seamless execution, and conduct post-event evaluations.
  2. Menu Development and Food Service: Collaborate on menu creation, oversee food preparation and service, and manage food safety and costs.
  3. Staff Management and Development: Hire, train, supervise, and develop catering staff, fostering a positive work environment.
  4. Financial Management: Manage budgets, monitor costs, prepare financial reports, and ensure accurate billing.
  5. Operational Oversight: Ensure smooth operation of all catering functions, including staffing and logistics.
