Description:
If you have previous assembly and/or manufacturing experience and you're looking to get your foot in the door of a leading manufacturing company, this Assembler position could be a great fit for you!
A Portland Aerospace company that specializes in creating airplane engine parts has multiple temp-hire Assembler positions available on their team.
In this role, you'll be trained to assemble and repair aerospace molds using hot pencils and hand tools. Not only is the pay competitive - you'll be eligible for quarterly pay increases and bonuses!

Assembler Job Duties:
- Assemble wax patterns according to detailed specifications
- Check wax pieces for cracks or damage and fix them if needed
- Follow instructions, drawings, or patterns to build parts correctly
- Handle wax parts carefully to avoid breaking or bending them
- Make sure wax parts are the right size and shape and meet quality standards.
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 6am-2:30pm or 3:00pm - 11:00pm
Pay: $22-$24hr
Assembler Requirements:
- Experience in assembly and/or manufacturing environment preferred
- Ability to work with small, delicate parts with good attention to detail
- Able to follow written instructions or diagrams
- Ability to lift up to 30lbs with or without accommodations
