We seek a Software Engineer to contribute to our digital transformation initiatives.Essential Responsibilities: Design, develop, test, operate, and maintain products.Take full stack ownership by writing production-ready and testable code.Create optimal designs following architectural best practices, considering scalability, reliability, and performance.Analyze failures, propose design changes, and suggest operational improvements.Prioritize customer experience in design and coding decisions.Incorporate feedback from code reviews to meet standards.Conduct code reviews to guide engineering best practices and compliance.Ensure product development adheres to security and compliance standards.Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.Two to three years of relevant experience.Preferred Skills/Experience Strong knowledge in Cobol, DB2, JCL, VSAM.Experience with agile development and DevOps.Understanding of features, user impact, and flow.Proficiency in defining and fulfilling solution requirements.Effective communication with team members and stakeholders.Knowledge of algorithms, data structures, and design patterns.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.Location Expectations The role offers a hybrid schedule with in-office presence of 3+ days per week and flexibility for remote work on other days.U.S. Bank provides comprehensive benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, paid leave, and more, designed to support your well-being and financial security.Additional Information U.S. Bank is an equal opportunity employer.
