The position will provide financial, administrative and clerical support entering and maintaining projects in project database with accurate financial data, maintaining project documentation, assisting accounting team and project managers with project financial reporting, entering data and compiling backup for accounts payables and accounts receivables according to established policies and procedures in an efficient, timely and accurate manner, and carrying out other accounting duties as may be assigned by the Accounting Manager.
What You'll Do:
•Enter and maintain projects within Ajera; create invoicing formats; calculate rates and maintain billing rate tables; set up and maintain client and vendor profiles
•Maintain and update project budgets, modifications, and resource allocations in Ajera
•Prepare and compile project financial reports and invoicing backup for Project Accountants
•Support accounts payables with expense report entry and receipt documentation
•Assist Project Managers with proposal fees, project financial reporting and budgeting
•Track and maintain subconsultant profiles, master service agreements, task orders, insurance certificates, W9s and 1099 information in Ajera
•Order, receive, send, and track certificates of insurance to clients and from subconsultants
•Assist Accounting Manager to create and customize Ajera dashboards, widgets, custom fields, and reports
•Maintain and update utilization goals as directed by Company Leadership
•Reconcile processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to contracts and other project documentation
•Provide accurate and effective data entry, document preparation and records management relative to the department in accordance with records retention policies and procedures
•Other general accounting tasks assigned by Accounting Manager

Requirements
Minimum Required Key Qualifications:
•Associate's Degree in Accounting or similar or 3 years of comparable work experience
•Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat
•Experience using Ajera (or other Deltek system) preferred
•Sound knowledge of accounting principles and practices, financial concepts (overhead, markups, profit, cost/project accounting, etc.)
•Must be able to work independently, particularly during deadlines and be proactive to ensure tasks are completed
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills
•Strong organizational and documentation skills
•Proficiency in juggling multiple deadlines is required
