Wage: $49,920-54,000/yr (DOE)

The Maintenance Director is a working maintenance position responsible for all facility maintenance.

Responsibilities:

  1. Plan and carry out programs in repair, new construction, and equipment installation.
  2. Train and monitor maintenance staff, and oversee services performed by outside vendors/contractors.
  3. Coordinate maintenance services with other departments and establish a preventative maintenance program.
  4. Plan, prepare, and operate within the Maintenance budget, order and inventory supplies and equipment.
  5. Participate in community surveys by authorized government agencies and develop a plan of correction for any maintenance deficiencies.
  6. Maintain confidentiality of all care in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
  7. Create and maintain an atmosphere of warmth, patience, enthusiasm, calm, and joy.
  8. Complete ongoing training as assigned.
  9. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  1. High School diploma or equivalent.
  2. Must be at least 18 years old.
  3. 3+ years of experience with maintenance of a building such as an assisted living community, nursing home, apartment complex, or a business facility.
  4. Knowledge of boilers, compressors, generators, and various mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
  5. Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and reading blueprints.
  6. Ability to respond to inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or the business community.
