This position supports the Assistant and/or Chief Engineer and Sr. Facilities Manager in the day-to-day maintenance, repair, and efficient operation of all building systems and equipment on behalf of the client. The Engineer will perform routine operation, inspection, maintenance, and repairs on HVAC, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems to ensure optimal performance and longevity. Responsibilities include maintaining energy-efficient and safe equipment, conducting inspections, and performing repairs on various building components.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Preventive maintenance and repair of facility systems
• Operation and repair of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other building systems
• Inspection and reporting on building conditions
• Maintenance of elevators, building automation, and safety systems
• Responding to emergencies and ensuring safety protocols
• Maintaining records and reports on operations
• Ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED; trade school or apprenticeship preferred
• Minimum 4 years of experience in building systems maintenance
• Valid driver's license and relevant trade licenses or certifications
• EPA 608 certification for refrigerants

Skills & Abilities:

• Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Good communication and organizational skills
• Proficiency with basic computer applications and building automation systems

Physical & Environmental Conditions:

• Physical activity including lifting up to 50 lbs, climbing, and standing for long periods
• Exposure to noise, chemicals, and varying temperatures
• Use of PPE as required

Schedule & Other Details:

• Typically work during business hours; may include shift work, overtime, and emergency response
• Company vehicle provided; responsible for maintenance and documentation
• Salary range: $36.00 - $43.00 per hour
