Waste Connections of Washington is looking for a safety conscious Maintenance Clerk to join the team in Vancouver, Washington.Schedule is Monday - FridayShift is 7:00 AM - 4:00 PMRate of pay is $25.00/hour Safety Sensitive: YesRESPONSIBILITIES:Daily TasksCheck parts reservations and requisitions go over with manager for orderingOrder parts and/or chase parts during the dayEnter and bar code parts (RTA)Price check reoccurring stock itemsBill parts to open, deferred, or incomplete work ordersIssue P.O.s and receive invoices in P.O. logEnter fuel In RTA (hours, miles, and gals)Parts update e-mails to shift leads and managersDPF log entry copy and post on shop deskMail out oil samples every dayKeep parts inventory and parts room clean and organizedFile VCR and work ordersCNG daily tank readings enter in logFile white copies VCR'sWatch closely for Warranty Parts - File Claims and paperwork as neededAssist Op's Clerk with presenting, getting signatures and uploading CDL documents into ConcordeTrack & Schedule Mechanics Med Card Appointments in ConcordeWeeklyClose invoices in Wells Fargo and PO logScan invoicesReconcile warranty reportsHelp Pay InvoicesMonthlyPrint all month end reports send to manager enter in Excel trackerWarranty received report by third day of the new monthCheck all shop inspections have been completed before month endSpecial TasksQuarterly hands-on inventory reconciliationTake safety meeting notesPurge files when needed per records retention policiesInput tread depth reports for tireman Gene, send to managerSafety Committee Member - Follow up on monthly facility inspection findingsPhoto of South Pond and record notes and picture in Bioswale BinderREQUIREMENTS:Must be able to lift 50 lbs.High school diploma or equivalentFamiliar with vehicle and equipment parts to assist shop personnel with clerical and data entry workExperience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and E-Mail, proficient in 10 key, keyboarding and typing skills a mustExperience with computers and data entry including PO's, invoices and inventory logsExperience with an RTA maintenance program is a huge plusExcellent verbal communications skillsThe ability to drive a company pick up is required for parts runningTo be considered for any of our current openings you must complete an application at www.wasteconnections.com Application information and additional instructions can be found once you select your position of interest.We offer excellent benefits including: medical, dental, vision, flexible spending account, long term & short term disability, life insurance, 401K retirement and unlimited opportunities to "Connect with Your Future".Waste Connections is an equal opportunity employer.
