Responsibilities

The Project Manager I is responsible for planning, monitoring, and reporting project status and performance data to management and stakeholders. They identify potential conflicts and facilitate resolutions, manage risks, develop mitigation plans, and communicate risks related to both self-performed and subcontracted work across all project phases. Additionally, they contribute to improving project management methodologies, tools, and approaches, providing guidance and training to associates and field engineers. The Project Manager I acts as the process manager, ensuring team goals, roles, protocols, and relationships align with high-performance standards and company strategy. This role promotes a culture of trust, accountability, and constructive feedback.

Qualifications

  • Experience managing large-scale projects and knowledge of construction and utility industry practices
  • Understanding of Critical Path Scheduling software and MS Office Suite
  • PMP certification (preferred)
  • Moderately complex problem-solving skills

Minimum Educational Background: BS degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering, or Business

Minimum Years of Relevant Experience: 2+
