Center Director (Birth - 5) (Healthcare)
Support for Early Learning & Families (SELF) seeks an experienced, engaging, and dedicated Center Director to join our educational community. This is a full-time, non-exempt position reporting directly to the Operations Center Director. The position is based in Vancouver, WA.
Who is SELF? Support for Early Learning & Families (SELF) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving opportunities for children in our community. Our mission is to promote community awareness and advocacy for early learning, kindergarten readiness, and school success for all children in Southwest Washington.
We partner with Educational Service District (ESD) 112 to staff and facilitate childcare centers supporting children from birth through school age, serving diverse backgrounds and needs. We pride ourselves on fostering a supportive community aligned with our mission.

Position Overview:
The Center Director provides leadership and oversees the daily operations of a Child Care Center. Responsibilities include creating a developmentally appropriate environment, engaging children and families effectively, and supporting staff professional development through observation, coaching, training, and goal setting. The Director ensures compliance with Washington Administrative Code and state licensing requirements, working in partnership with ESD 112.
