Portland Christian Schools is currently seeking just the right person to fill our opening for a middle and high school office assistant.

Responsibilities: Assist in the Middle & High School campus office. Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Greeting and assisting visitors, parents, and students
• Answering the phone
• Responding to inquiries via phone, email, and other means
• Typing and data entry
• Copying
• Maintaining student records
• Managing sales transactions such as lunch tickets, school fees, spirit wear
• Scheduling appointments
• Assisting in the health room (certification required)
• Administering student medications (certification required)
• Assisting with communications to parents, staff, and students
• Assisting with special projects as needed

All PCS employees are expected to fully engage in the stated mission of the school, "to educate students in the truth of God's word in every area of instruction and activity, so that their lives may be transformed by the renewing of their minds." Must be willing to sign the PCS Statement of Faith and Lifestyle Statement. A background check will be run after a preliminary offer of employment is made.

Work Week and Hours:

Monday-Friday, 7:45 AM- 3:45 PM (with 1/2 hour lunch)

Occasional weekend / evening hours may be required

Term: 8/18/2025 - 6/18/2026

Requirements:

• High school diploma or a GED equivalent
• At least one year of office experience preferred
• At least one year of work experience with students ages 12 - 18 preferred
