About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Product Manager to work closely with the President and cross-functional teams to define, develop, and launch products that drive Perfect Harvest's growth and innovation. This role will focus on the full product lifecycle—from concept and design through production and launch—ensuring cross-functional alignment and operational excellence. The ideal candidate has a blend of strategic thinking, strong execution skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality hardware, packaging, and merchandising solutions within the cannabis or related CPG/tech industries. This position offers high visibility into company strategy and leadership decision-making, with ample opportunity for career advancement as the company scales.

Responsibilities

- Collaborate with the CEO and key stakeholders to define product vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned with company goals.

- Conduct market research, user research, and competitive analysis to develop data-driven insights to identify product opportunities, set priorities, and develop compelling product value propositions.

- Translate product concepts into clear requirements and specifications for design, manufacturing, and operations teams.

- Oversee the entire product lifecycle: from concept and prototyping to testing, production, and launch including, but not limited to, tracking and managing timelines, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure on-time delivery.

- Serve as the primary liaison among internal teams and external partners and facilitate clear and consistent communication to align stakeholders on product requirements, timelines, and deliverables.

- Drive innovation in form factor, packaging, labeling, merchandising, and hardware solutions to enhance customer experience and brand differentiation.

- Collaborate with manufacturing partners to evaluate materials, complexity, cost, delivery time, and quality control, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

- Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to assess product success and inform future improvements.

- Gather feedback from internal teams, end-users, and market analysis to iterate on product features and drive continuous improvement.

- Proactively identify potential risks or roadblocks in the product development and general packaging and hardware procurement process (e.g., supply chain issues, design constraints) and propose mitigation strategies.

- Balance competing priorities, manage ambiguity, and make data-driven decisions to keep products on track.

- Develop and refine processes to streamline product development, reduce costs, and improve overall efficiency.

- Anticipate future needs and opportunities, proposing new systems or tools that can support product scalability.

- Act as a trusted partner to leadership, contributing to strategic discussions and identifying new business opportunities.

- Mentor junior team members and cross-functional collaborators, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred but not required.

- 5+ years of experience in product management, product development, or a closely related function, preferably with hardware, CPG, or technology products.

- Proven track record of defining product roadmaps, managing product lifecycles, and delivering successful product launches.

- Experience with project management tools and product development methodologies.

- Familiarity with hardware manufacturing processes, packaging design, and supply chain considerations; experience in cannabis or regulated industries is a strong plus.

- Comfortable interpreting technical documents, collaborating with engineers, and working through design or production constraints.

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data, user insights, and financial metrics to inform product decisions.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and build trusted relationships.

- Comfortable in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment; able to pivot quickly and manage multiple priorities.
